Sanjiv Anand, Chairman, Cedar Management Consulting International

Sanjiv has over 30 years of management consulting experience across the globe. He started his career in the US, where for over 7 years he developed strategy for various US markets. Subsequently he set up operations in Asia, and the Middle East.

Sanjiv has assisted the boards and CEOs of leading banks develop and execute business strategy including complete transformations and mergers of multiple banks. Clients include American Express, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ENBD, NBAD to name a few.

Sanjiv has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and an AMP from Harvard Business School.

Amit Jain, Partner

Amit has over 15 years of management consulting experience in the areas of market / opportunity assessment, strategy formulation and implementation, Balanced Scorecard, due diligence across industries & geographies.

Amit has been working closely with leading global technology suppliers, FinTech’s, banks and consulting in addressing their global fintech research needs. He plays an active role in IBSI’s global growth & expansion. He also leads and manages a team of Business Development executives across the globe

He has a strong understanding of the financial services & fintech sector having worked closely with leading technology suppliers in assessing opportunity and formulating their growth strategy.

Some of his clients include; Temenos, Oracle, Finastra, Infosys, TCS, Sopra, ERI, Avaloq, ezbob, i-exceed, Fidor, Jack Henry, Fiserv among several others.

Amit holds an MBA from S.P. Jain. He has recently completed executive education programs at London Business School & Harvard Business School. He is also a Six Sigma certified Green Belt.

Sahil  Anand, Director

Sahil plays a key business development role in UK and EU markets, and also leads IBSI’s US market initiative for the full range of IBSI products, with a focus on Consulting and knowledge-tool offerings. He writes regularly for the iconic IBS Journal and website on FinTech market trends and investments.

His past assignments include investment experience with Everstone Capital, a $3 Bn Asia-focused Private Equity fund, DSG Consumer Partners in the Venture Capital space, and with BNP Paribas Merchant Banking in New York City. Sahil is considered to be an expert on investing in the Consumer Food & Beverage (F&B), Multiplex entertainment, and Retail industry.

Sahil has an MBA from London Business School, and a BS in Finance from NYU Stern. He is the Chapter Chair for YNG (Young Presidents Organization) and also serves actively as a NYU Stern Alumni Association Committee Member.

Bill Boyle, Senior Editor, IBS Intelligence

Bill Boyle has over thirty-eight years of experience as a journalist, communications specialist and editorial consultant driving client satisfaction in editorial and national media houses, delivering high quality projects, leading editorial, public relations, social media and communications teams across industries, geographies and client situations.

Bill was the managing editor of Euromoney Institutional Investor’s telecommunications titles Capacity and Global Telecoms Business. Bill led the editorial team which transformed the Global Telecoms Business website, award ceremonies and events portfolio. Prior to Euromoney he was managing editor of Datacenter Dynamics, the data center industry’s leading international magazine and website where he led a redesign of the title and complete overhaul of its website and circulation. For fifteen years Bill led his own editorial consultancy, WHB Communications, which strategically advised and wrote white papers for some of the largest IT companies in the world including BT, VNU Publishing, Ziff Davis publishing, IBM, 3Com, EMC, MDSL, Juniper and many more. Bill was retained by Richard Granger, the director general of the National Programme for Information Technology, and chief executive officer of Connecting for Health for two years to help protect the image of the £52bn programme, one of the world’s largest IT transformation projects. Bill media-trained many of the NHS’s national leaders and US companies leading CEOs.

James Hanbury, Senior Advisor, ex-co-Founder of Incisive Media

James is an entrepreneur and energetic business leader who co-founded Incisive Media in 1995 with 13 people and £275k of capital and built a business that had revenues of over £250 million and 2500 staff in under 13 years. Floated Incisive Media on the main market of the LSE in December 2000 and then completed a £275 million MBO backed by Apax in 2006.

With a hands-on leadership style, experienced Board Director of both public and private companies and a proactive private investor. He was appointed Deputy Chairman of Future PLC, having sold Imagine Publishing to Future in October 2016. Previously Non Executive Chairman of Imagine Publishing, sits on the Advisory Board to FIG Ltd, a former NED with Cavendish Group and Angel Investor in FIG, Stylemania, Red Savannah, Mujo, The Tab, Resource Guru and Cicero Consulting. Also, Chairman of WARpaint Exhibition Limited, raising money for Armed Forces charities.

James specialises in strategic direction of management teams in London, North America and Asia, improving efficiency and change management experience in digital media. Parnika Sokhi, Senior Regional Correspondent, IBS Intelligence

Parnika has over nine years of experience as a business journalist working with leading news media in India. Her area of expertise includes tracking, reporting and writing on various developments in the country’s dynamic banking and finance industry. In 2013, Parnika was chosen by the International Monetary Fund for their Journalism Fellowship Program which was conducted in Washington DC. She covered the IMF-World Bank Spring and Annual Meetings held in April and October 2013. She also attended the workshop conducted by Thomson Reuters and the IMF on central bank reporting.

V Ramkumar, Senior Partner, Cedar Management Consulting International

Ram has over 20 years of experience in assisting global financial services clients with business strategy formulation and transformation engagements including organisational, process and technology transformation.

He has helped several clients in formulating their business aligned IT strategy, and also with their application selection and implementation. Specifically, he has helped leading banks in selection and implementation of their core banking and other critical solutions, and overseen implementations by most leading vendors. He has also been principally responsible for over 5 large banking integration exercises and also directed multi-country roll-outs of large technology applications, coordinating across business, technical and organisational factors. Ram has executed over 20 large core banking transformations overall.

Ram is a regular speaker at industry events and his articles are periodically published. He completed his Masters at Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India, and executive education at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
