Ram has over 20 years’ experience in assisting global financial services clients with Business Strategy formulation and transformation engagements including organisational, process and technology transformation.
He has helped several clients in formulating their business aligned IT strategy, and also with their application selection and implementation. Specifically, he has helped leading banks in selection and implementation of their core banking and other critical solutions, and overseen implementations by most leading vendors. He has also been principally responsible for over 5 large banking integration exercises and also directed multi-country roll-outs of large technology applications, coordinating across business, technical and organisational factors. Norman Gilchrist, Senior Advisor, ex-CEO of American Express Bank
Norman has over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services and has worked on assignments in the areas of customer service strategy, consumer channel and product strategy, customer relationship management, operations and technology integration, selection and implementation of banking systems, and business process re-engineering. He was responsible for successful integration ofAmerican Express Bank’s (AEB) technology and operations into Standard Chartered Bank.
While at AEB, he was also responsible for the review of compliance risk management program and successful integration of the B2B compliance organisation over 20 countries. He was also responsible for the delivery of products and services to the AEB lines of business: financial institutions group, private banking, financial advisory services and global financial markets. He has previously held a number of executive management positions at Standard Chartered, Lloyds, The Bank of Scotland and Financial Institutions Group.

Most recently, Prem was with Aranca: Global Research and Analytics, where he had been assisting corporate strategy and MI/CI functions of some of the biggest banks and Fortune 500 firms globally. He helped them answer critical questions around markets, technologies and competition. He was also instrumental in setting up Aranca’s operations in Shanghai, China. Prem started his professional career with Travelex – world’s biggest non-bank provider of foreign exchange and subsequently also worked with Currencies Direct – a leading competitor of Travelex.
