Neonomics teams up with Norway’s Digipost for checkout solution

The move enables people across Norway to pay their invoices faster and more conveniently by paying them directly within their Digipost app.

Sending millions of invoices, Digipost has identified delivering secure and fast payment experiences as a core user benefit. The two companies have had a long-standing partnership, with Digipost being an early adopter of Neonomics’ open banking offerings.

After extensive trialing, Digipost has released a payment experience fully powered by open banking. With the Neonomics Checkout solution and bank coverage, they are now able to deliver secure payment journeys for end users in every corner of the country.

Speaking on the collaboration, Thomas Mathisen, SVP of Digipost, said, “We have worked closely with Neonomics to deliver a solution that is as user-friendly as it is cost-efficient, enabling users to pay and manage their payments within our app. Improving user experience is a priority for us, and we are always looking for ways to add value for our users. In the Nordic region, digital mailboxes are widely used as the primary form of official communication between residents and public institutions such as the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration or local governments. Digipost has over 25,000 public institutions and private businesses as its customers.
