fidesmo payFidesmo Pay today announced its expansion in Europe with a new collaboration with Cembra in Switzerland. Cembra, a Swiss provider of consumer finance products, will be able to allow its customers to connect their cards to a wearable with support for Fidesmo Pay.

“Fidesmo is on the growth path and is starting in more and more countries, with innovative banks and service providers. We are very pleased that we could win Cembra to take our first steps with issuers in Switzerland and look forward to our further cooperation. It is especially important to me to emphasize great personal cooperation,” said Ulrich Dreefs, Head of Sales, Fidesmo.

According to Fidesmo Pay, the customer can choose from a variety of wearables – watch straps, bracelets, keyrings and much more. The payment card is easily and securely connected online when ordering the wearable and activated for payments through the Fidesmo app once the purchase has been received.

Recently, Fidesmo and SEB have teamed up for the launch of the wearable payment service Fidesmo Pay in Denmark and Finland. Fidesmo Pay aims to enable banks to offer their customers a secure way to make contactless payments, by letting them pay with a wearable of their own choice. SEB launched the wearable payment service to their customers in Sweden and Norway in 2019 and today they further expand the offering to customers in Denmark and Finland.

The Swedish technology company provides a streamlined integration process for manufacturers to add contactless services to their devices and for contactless service providers to distribute their services without any hardware overhead to many devices.
