UK-based digital bond market provider WiseAlpha has announced it has appointed Andrea Rebusco as its new Chief Commercial Officer. He will now be responsible for driving WiseAlpha’s strategic roadmap of its offering of corporate bonds made available via fractions of bonds in household name companies to private investors through its self-service platform.

Andrea said, “WiseAlpha is the UK’s only digital bond market so it’s exciting to work for a company with a truly unique service offering. I’m excited about getting stuck in at such a transformational period in the company’s history. I’ll be leading WiseAlpha’s communications strategy and working on some exciting partnerships and commercial opportunities that forge great new ways to market. I’m looking forward to building on the successes of recent years and to building engagement with WiseAlpha’s exciting commercial proposition.”

Previously, Andrea was WiseAlpha’s Managing Director and the Head of Growth and Strategic Partnerships where he played a role in building strategic partnerships with retail brokers, digital banks and financial networks. Before WiseAlpha, he was Head of EMEA Trading Services at IG Group, where he led a team of one hundred client-facing professionals.

WiseAlpha CEO Rezaah Ahmad said, “Andrea has an extremely impressive professional record. Having worked across senior leadership teams, he has brilliant commercial acumen and experience in developing and delivering exciting solutions and partnerships. I am confident he will be a huge asset to the business as we ramp up our commercial development and continue to innovate our digital service.”
