Punjab National Bank (PNB) has joined the PSB Xchange platform as a lending partner, expanding the digital working capital finance network and strengthening access to supply chain finance for businesses across India.

M Paramasivam, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank, said: “By joining PSB Xchange, we are further strengthening our Supply Chain Finance capabilities through a unified digital platform that enables faster onboarding, efficient credit delivery and improved customer experience.”

The agreement between PSB Alliance Pvt. Ltd. and PNB has enabled the bank to offer digital supply chain finance solutions to eligible borrowers linked to participating anchor corporates through the unified platform. The collaboration has supported digital onboarding, credit assessment and financing through a standardised process, aimed at improving operational efficiency and accelerating access to institutional working capital.

Anjali Mohanty, MD & CEO, PSB Alliance, said: “Punjab National Bank’s onboarding marks another important milestone in expanding this network.”

PNB, India’s third-largest public sector bank by overall business, has strengthened the platform’s lender ecosystem with its established supply chain finance portfolio. The addition has expanded financing options for dealers, distributors and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), while enabling corporates to access a broader network of lending partners.

PSB Xchange has connected lenders, corporates and ecosystem partners through a shared digital infrastructure designed to reduce multiple point-to-point integrations and simplify programme implementation. The platform has also supported portfolio monitoring and streamlined supply chain finance operations.

The collaboration has furthered efforts to digitise onboarding, documentation and programme execution, enabling lenders and corporates to implement supply chain finance programmes more efficiently while extending formal credit to a wider base of businesses.
