Credit and asset management technology provider Linedata’s newest innovation, the Asset Management Platform (Linedata AMP), will use cloud to provide an always-on approach to software, data and services.

The newly launched solution provides the rapidly changing asset management industry with a cloud solution with continuous integration and drive-adaptability, as well as AI and machine learning analytics and data management services.

Speaking to IBS Intelligence, Ed Gouldstone, COO Northern Europe, Asset Management at Linedata, said the AMP solution has been created with a modular and cloud-agnostic design for constant and quick service.

“There is a tendency among some vendors to be quite evangelical about taking an entire new solution on either a public or private-only cloud, but so much comes down to the individual operational needs and alignment with each firms’ cloud strategy. Supporting public, private and hybrid cloud all through one modular platform means we can offer truly impartial advice, based on what will make a digital transformation successful for them, delivering incremental benefits right from day one,” Gouldstone said.

Linedata logoLinedata specialises in humanised technology solutions and services for the asset management and credit industries, where the changing nature of financial services has increased the demands for digital transformation. This comes on top of pressures to overcome regulatory hurdles, streamline business costs and meet the needs of a globalised customer base.

Gouldstone added that paired with the pressure from the global pandemic, this has led to increased interest from asset managers to adopt new solutions.

“Different firms were at different stages in their digital transformations pre-Covid, when it was simply seen as a way to boost efficiency or gain a slight competitive edge. Now, with the shift to remote working, digitalisation and embracing cloud has become a real business imperative and so firms that were further behind in this journey are quickly having to play catch-up.”

“Two critical issues come to the fore: Covid has shed light onto the need for a more adaptable client experience, putting technology at the forefront of customer success. New offerings provide access to the right data to enable better insights and efficiency which is why we have integrated access to third-party market data into our cloud platform. The second, as we’ve mentioned, is access to a cloud-based, digital platform since Covid has forced firms to undertake years’ worth of digitisation in a few months and cloud makes that possible,” Gouldstone said.

Core features within Linedata AMP include:

  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Platform: CI/CD makes Linedata AMP an ideal solution to boost innovation and expand into new markets. The seamless migration and simplified approach to upgrades makes incorporating new features possible at any time, with limited effort.
  • Cloud-Based System: With AMP, Linedata is able to deploy a nimble, forward-compatible offering delivering a hassle-free user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), enhancing efficiency while increasing scalability – all in the public cloud, in addition to existing hybrid and private cloud options as well. Essential for an industry with work-from-home mandates and the need for enhanced security during remote working.
  • Linedata Analytics Service (AI/ML): Another key AMP offering is Linedata Analytics Service, which incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to deliver actionable insights from client and third-party data that asset managers can leverage to improve day-to-day processes, competitiveness in the marketplace and fundamentally lower cost curves.
  • Linedata Data Management Service: Additionally, AMP includes Linedata Data Management Service, which lowers total cost of ownership for this critical function with comprehensive pricing and reference data sets directly integrated into Linedata software.
