UW Credit Union selects Fiserv DNA core platform
By Milan Rojan
UW Credit Union has selected DNA from Fiserv as its future core processing platform, expanding its long-standing relationship with the financial technology provider as the credit union seeks to strengthen operational efficiency, support future growth and enhance member experiences.
The Wisconsin-based credit union, which manages more than $6 billion in assets and serves around 395,000 members, said the move has formed part of its long-term technology strategy to modernise core banking operations and build a more connected digital environment.
Paul Kundert, President and Chief Executive Officer of UW Credit Union, said: “DNA gives us a modern, flexible platform to simplify our operations, innovate, and adapt quickly to our members’ changing needs.”
Fiserv said the implementation has provided UW Credit Union with access to DNA’s API-enabled architecture, modern user interface, account and lending processing capabilities, workflow automation and reporting tools. The platform is designed to help financial institutions improve operational flexibility while supporting evolving customer and business requirements.
Alongside the core banking upgrade, UW Credit Union has renewed a multi-year agreement for a range of Fiserv solutions covering card services, peer-to-peer payments and account-to-account transfers. The company said the expanded technology portfolio will support seamless money movement and a more integrated banking experience for members.
Kim Ford, Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Partnerships at Fiserv, said the expanded relationship reflects the credit union’s long-term vision and commitment to delivering improved member experiences through integrated technology.
Fiserv said credit unions are increasingly investing in API-enabled core banking platforms that can accelerate innovation and integrate more effectively across organisations. The company added that UW Credit Union’s adoption of DNA has reflected growing demand for flexible core processing technology capable of supporting digital transformation, operational resilience and long-term growth in an evolving financial services landscape.
