Harvest partners with Helcim to streamline invoice payments
By Milan Rojan
Canadian accounts receivable platform Harvest has partnered with payment processor Helcim to integrate payment processing into its AI-powered collections platform, aiming to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) get paid faster and improve cash flow.
Under the partnership, Helcim’s payment capabilities were embedded within Harvest’s platform, enabling businesses to connect their Helcim accounts and automatically add payment options to outstanding invoices. The integration has allowed customers to move directly from invoice reminders to completing payments without leaving the platform.
Matt Himel, Chief Executive Officer of Harvest, said, “Small businesses shouldn’t need to have a large finance team to manage their outstanding invoices. Harvest gives Canadian SMBs access to sophisticated AI technology that follows up on invoices, manages customer communication and helps businesses get paid faster. Through integrating Helcim, we are now making the final step just as seamless.”
Harvest, which launched in 2025, uses artificial intelligence to automate accounts receivable processes, including invoice follow-ups and customer communications. The company said the latest integration addresses one of the biggest challenges facing Canadian SMBs—delayed payments that can constrain cash flow and business growth.
Nic Beique, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Helcim, said the collaboration extends the company’s mission of delivering transparent and affordable payment services to small businesses. He added that the partnership enables Harvest users to accept payments while reducing the impact of processing costs.
The announcement has followed Helcim’s recent expansion of its partner ecosystem through initiatives such as the Helcim Payment Extension, which enabled merchants to embed the company’s payment interface into third-party business software while keeping payment records synchronised automatically.
