Finastra appoints industry heavyweight Andrew Bateman as EVP, Lending

Finastra has announced the appointment of Andrew Bateman as EVP of Lending.
Reporting to Finastra CEO Simon Paris, Bateman brings almost 30 years of experience in financial services. He excels in guiding global teams in modernising technologies through technical agility and supporting customers’ growth agendas. In addition, he is committed to promoting inclusion, diversity and sustainability within the industry and strongly advocates for workplace well-being and open communication.
Bateman joins Finastra from FIS, where he was most recently Head of Sales for Corporates and International Banking. He will be responsible for leading and growing Finastra’s Lending Business Unit.
Speaking on his appointment, Bateman said, “Joining Finastra is an exciting step, and I can’t wait to meet the team and our customers and partners to help support their technology modernisation journeys.
