By Divya Shah
Dubai-based tax technology company Daribatech has partnered with Gateley Middle East to help businesses prepare for the UAE’s upcoming mandatory e-invoicing requirements, due to take effect on 1 January 2027.
Daribatech is an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) approved by the UAE Ministry of Finance, while Gateley Middle East is a legal and tax advisory firm that describes itself as the region’s only fully integrated provider of legal and tax solutions and home to one of the largest tax practices within a law firm in the Middle East.
Jay Riche, co-founder and CEO of Daribatech, said, “This partnership combines advanced tax technology with trusted advisory expertise, helping businesses navigate e-invoicing requirements with confidence and ease. We believe this collaboration will provide clients with enhanced confidence and full-service support as they prepare for the new regime.”
Through the partnership, the companies will support organisations in assessing their readiness for e-invoicing, implementing compliant technology solutions and managing ongoing regulatory obligations.
The collaboration comes as UAE businesses prepare for new compliance deadlines, including the requirement for companies with annual revenues exceeding AED 50m to appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026.
Renan Ozturk, Partner and Head of Tax (Middle East) at Gateley Middle East, added: “Our partnership with Daribatech combines our specialist tax and legal expertise with one of the region’s leading tax technology solutions, helping businesses implement e-invoicing efficiently. Tax technology is a critical pillar of our offering, enabling us to deliver practical solutions that help clients manage evolving compliance requirements.”
The move reflects growing demand for technology-enabled compliance solutions as businesses across the UAE prepare for the country’s transition to mandatory e-invoicing.
