Fikra Ventures has partnered with Glimmer Technologies to commercialise enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across the Gulf, targeting banks, lenders, FinTechs, telecom operators and large enterprises.

Wael Aburida, Founder and Managing Partner of Fikra Ventures, said: “Glimmer’s platform processes over one million loan applications a month, giving us the foundation to build a significant Gulf business.”

Under the agreement, Abu Dhabi-based Fikra Ventures has become Glimmer’s exclusive commercialisation, marketing and distribution partner in the Gulf region. The venture studio will establish a new portfolio company to deploy Glimmer’s FinomeAI suite, which is already being used in live financial services environments.

The new company will develop Arabic-language and regionally compliant solutions based on Glimmer’s AI platform, helping enterprises address localisation and regulatory requirements while reducing deployment timelines. Fikra Ventures will provide venture-building expertise, capital and commercial infrastructure, while Glimmer will supply the underlying technology.

Saurabh Nigam, Chief Executive Officer of Glimmer Technologies, said the collaboration combines Glimmer’s production-ready AI capabilities with Fikra Ventures’ regional expertise to support enterprise adoption across the Gulf.

Glimmer said its AI platform currently processes more than one million loan applications each month across production deployments. The company added that its technology has reduced fraud investigation turnaround times from up to two days to 20–30 minutes per case at a financial institution, increased onboarding conversion by 8% for a non-bank lender and improved portfolio collection rates by around 6%.

The partnership has initially focused on financial services and lending, where institutions are seeking to modernise collections, underwriting, customer onboarding, servicing and regulatory workflows while maintaining governance and operational control.

The companies have begun planning Arabic-localised demonstrations and market-specific pilots covering collections, marketing outreach, conversational onboarding, voice automation and document-led decisioning, with plans to expand into the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
