UK digital lender Kroo Bank has completed a loan portfolio acquisition and entered into a forward flow funding partnership with specialist bridging lender Glenhawk, strengthening funding support for the UK property finance market.

Under the agreement, Kroo Bank will acquire an existing portfolio of Glenhawk loans and provide ongoing funding for a portion of the lender’s future bridge loan originations through a forward flow arrangement. The partnership is expected to provide Glenhawk with additional long-term funding capacity as demand for short-term property finance continues to grow across the UK.

The deal also supports Kroo Bank’s strategy to expand into specialist lending segments that are often underserved by traditional funding providers.

Veronika Lovett, Chief Executive Officer of Kroo Bank, said, “This partnership reflects Kroo Bank’s strategy to diversify areas of the market that are often underserved and lack access to the funding they need. Glenhawk has an excellent track record in specialist property finance, and we’re proud to support their next phase of growth with stable, long-term funding.”

Lovett added that partnerships with experienced lenders allow Kroo Bank to deploy capital into established sectors where borrowers continue to require flexible financing solutions.

Glenhawk specialises in bridging finance products designed for property investors and developers. The company said the partnership complements its broader institutional funding structure and supports continued lending growth.

Andrew Townsend, Chief Executive Officer of Glenhawk, said, “We are delighted to have entered into a long-term partnership with such an innovative bank as Kroo. The partnership complements our other institutional warehouse and forward flow partnerships which together provide a strong funding base that enables us to meet the continued strong demand for our market-leading bridging products.”

The agreement highlights growing collaboration between digital banks and specialist lenders as institutions seek new opportunities in property finance and alternative lending markets.
