Codebase Technologies, Ovanti Limited partner on AI digital asset bank
By Aarav Garg

Codebase Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with Ovanti Limited to support the development of an AI-driven digital asset banking platform, reflecting growing interest in the convergence of artificial intelligence, digital banking and Web3 infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Ovanti will use Codebase Technologies’ Digibanc platform to power its planned “Agentic Digital Asset Bank”, which is intended to combine AI-enabled financial services with digital asset management capabilities for retail and institutional users. The initiative forms part of Ovanti’s broader Super App strategy, aimed at integrating payments, digital finance and AI-based services within a unified ecosystem.
“Financial institutions today are under immense pressure to innovate faster, while managing cost and complexity,” said Omar Mansur, MD – APAC at Codebase Technologies. “Our partnership with Ovanti demonstrates how Digibanc enables exactly that, providing a proven digital banking foundation that allows innovators to focus on differentiation. In this case, bringing together Agentic AI and digital assets to create an entirely new category of financial services.”
The partnership highlights a wider trend across the fintech sector, where banks and technology providers are increasingly exploring the use of AI agents and automation tools to streamline financial operations, personalise customer experiences and support digital asset workflows. Industry forecasts continue to point to strong growth in AI adoption across banking and financial services over the coming decade.
Digibanc’s cloud-native and API-first architecture will serve as the underlying infrastructure layer for the platform. Ovanti’s technology unit, Datamorph, plans to integrate its proprietary agentic AI and Web3 capabilities into the system to support automated digital asset portfolio management and AI-driven financial interactions.
For Ovanti, the collaboration is expected to reduce the need for large-scale core infrastructure development while accelerating deployment timelines and improving scalability. For Codebase Technologies, the agreement expands its role in supporting financial institutions and fintech firms seeking to launch modular, digital-first banking services.
The announcement also reflects broader experimentation within the financial services industry around AI-powered autonomous systems, particularly in areas such as portfolio management, customer engagement and digital asset operations. As financial institutions continue modernising infrastructure, partnerships between banking technology firms and AI providers are becoming an increasingly common feature of the sector’s evolving digital transformation strategies.
