Paysafe announces that it has extended its partnership with Polish retail chain Zabka. With a chain of more than 7,700 convenience stores across Poland, Zabka already offers Paysafe’s prepaid eCash solution Paysafecard and will also provide a payment point for the company’s online cash solution, Paysafecash.

Paysafecash is an alternative payment method for customers who want to use cash for easy and secure digital wallet loading, bank account deposits, or online payment for products and services. It makes online transactions possible for customers without a debit or credit card or who do not want to use them for online transactions for security reasons.

Paysafecash has been integrated to facilitate cash deposits for popular challenger banks Monese and bunq. It also enables online cash payments for loans and insurances purchases in partnership with the Polish FinTech company Provema. It has recently announced the integration of cash loading into ZEN.com’s virtual wallet.

Przemysław Tomaszewski, Sales & Services Development Director, commented: “There is ongoing demand for cash payments in Poland, and we are delighted to support Paysafe in its efforts to bring the benefits of the eCash payment solution Paysafecash to our customers for their online transaction needs. Our stores are ideally located to increase accessibility to payment points, adding to the convenience of the payment solution for customers in Poland.”

Udo Müller, CEO of Paysafe’s eCash division, said: “As more and more services move online, we are committed to providing access to digital financial services to cash-reliant consumers and security seekers. Our eCash solutions provide an easy and secure option for making cash-based online transactions, and our partnership with Zabka allows us to reach even more consumers across Poland who rely on cash or who do not wish to share their financial details online.”

Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that Paysafe, a leading specialised payments platform, announced a new payments partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the trade association of the world’s airlines.
