Alviere, Financial Products, Financial Services, Wes Schmidt, Chief Revenue Officer, FinTech, Embedded Finance Platform, THE HIVE, USAAlviere, the leading provider of enterprise software solutions that easily enable any brand to deliver a full suite of financial products and services to customers, fans, and employees, recently announced that it has named Wes Schmidt the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.

A FinTech industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience managing relationships and leading the teams responsible for the world’s most systemically influential financial institutions, Schmidt will build out Alviere’s global sales organisation.

“As I looked for a new opportunity to join an organisation innovating in the fintech arena with massive growth potential, Alviere stood out as the most compelling company I met,” said Wes Schmidt. “Alviere’s embedded finance platform, The HIVE, brings a powerful value proposition to the market, driving new streams of revenue for enterprise customers and broadening the relationships they have with their customers, existing and new. I’m thrilled to join Alviere’s leadership team which has so much cohesiveness and alignment on approaching this tremendous market opportunity.”

Previously, Schmidt led strategic accounts for Thomson Reuters Americas, where he was responsible for all financial and risk products and solutions. Schmidt also held various positions, building and developing high-performing global sales teams in EMEA and APAC. His most recent role was as Group Global Head of Strategic Accounts at Refinitiv, a London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) business. He managed the team responsible for all data and analytics, capital markets and post-trade solutions.

“With an abundance of sales and international experience, Wes has an incredible understanding of the various markets we are targeting across the Americas, Europe and LATAM,” said Yuval Brisker, Co-Founder and CEO of Alviere. “And, as a sought out executive, Wes’ decision to join Alviere reflects the excitement and interest we are seeing across the board for our business and for the embedded finance industry at large. We’re grateful to have such a seasoned professional join us on this journey as Chief Revenue Officer as we seek to add financial services to the business of the brands we know, love, and patronise daily and redefine the relationship with them and their customers, employees, and fans across the world.”

The announcement of Schmidt’s appointment comes on the heels of a year of tremendous growth for Alviere. In addition to raising $70 million from leading FinTech venture firms, Alviere appointed its first CFO and will see significant brands launching neo-bank services to consumers using its platform later this year.
