Visa partners with Emaar to facilitate cashless property transactions

Visa, Emaar, credit card, property, UAE, Visa debit Emaar Development and global digital payments company, Visa, announced a partnership which will enable UAE based customers to purchase property and make convenient instalment payments by using their Visa debit and credit cards.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Emaar Development said, “We are focused on accelerating our business by advancing our broader strategy and continuing to drive innovation and pioneer customer convenience through this strategic partnership with Visa. In a fast-growing, digital world, we are certain that customers will enjoy the plethora of benefits and convenience that come with Emaar being a part of Visa’s global merchant network.”

Andrew Torre, Visa’s Regional President for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “Buying a new home is always a thrilling experience and as partners, we are excited to make that process an even easier one through this exciting partnership with Emaar. It aims to expand acceptance of digital payments for the purchase of Emaar properties and enable UAE residents to make large property-related transactions on their Visa debit and credit cards. Through this endeavor, cardholders will be able to enjoy a convenient, secure and seamless experience when paying booking amounts and down payments or making installment payments for their new homes, without incurring any additional fees.”

The partnership presents the customer with omnichannel payment solutions which will facilitate a convenient solution when purchasing property and making instalment payments in the UAE.
