Bengaluru-based FinTech AI startup Vecton AI has raised $630,000 in pre-seed funding led by Zeropearl VC, as the company has sought to expand its AI solutions for banking and financial services firms.

The funding has been earmarked for developing enterprise-ready AI applications, strengthening Vecton AI’s Forward Deployed Engineer model and expanding its presence across the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector.

Founded in 2025 by Himanshu Goyal and Gaurav Mandlecha, Vecton AI has focused on helping financial institutions move AI initiatives beyond proof-of-concept stages and into production environments.

Its Forward Deployed Engineer model has combined software engineering with close collaboration between its engineers and financial institution teams. The approach has been used to identify business use cases, develop customised AI applications and integrate them into existing workflows.

Vecton AI has said it currently works with mid-market and enterprise financial institutions and has 10 customers, including publicly listed companies. Its AI applications have also been deployed in live production environments.

The startup has targeted the challenge of moving generative AI and autonomous-agent projects into operational systems. This has included integrating AI applications with existing infrastructure while supporting security controls and domain-specific requirements.

With the latest funding, Vecton AI has planned to expand its engineering and product teams, strengthen its BFSI presence and develop additional AI applications for enterprise use cases.

The funding has come as financial institutions have continued to assess AI technologies for applications beyond experimentation. Banks and other financial services firms have increasingly explored ways to integrate AI into operational processes while maintaining existing technology and governance frameworks.

Zeropearl VC has led the pre-seed round, with additional investors also participating. The startup has not disclosed a detailed breakdown of the additional investors or their individual commitments.
