TWINT partners with SWISS to simplify flight bookings for travellers
By Gloria Methri
Swiss payment app TWINT is teaming up with the airline SWISS to enable users in Switzerland to make flight bookings using their preferred means of payment.
Travellers can now pay for their flights from Switzerland simply, securely and conveniently with TWINT on swiss.com and in the SWISS app. This partnership between TWINT and SWISS aims to make the booking process as flexible and straightforward as possible for passengers.
“We are delighted to be able to work together with SWISS. Our shared vision is to offer our users in Switzerland a first-class booking experience and exceptional service. By linking TWINT and SWISS, we are enhancing the user experience and bringing together Switzerland’s leading airline and the country’s most popular payment method,” said Adrian Plattner, Chief Sales Officer of TWINT, commenting on the partnership.
“The integration of TWINT as a payment method is a further step towards offering our passengers even more choice during the booking process,” says SWISS Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach. “We have always been committed to Swissness and work with Swiss companies wherever possible. We are all the more pleased that our customers can now also buy their flight tickets with the leading and most popular Swiss payment app.”
The collaboration with SWISS underpins one of TWINT’s central missions: to simplify everyday life through digitalisation and offer users a seamless payment experience. This claim is reflected in particular in the constantly growing number of innovative partnerships in the field of mobility: regardless of whether you are buying a ticket for public transport, paying for parking at a petrol or charging station or, in this instance, booking a flight, TWINT makes travelling more convenient than ever.
