Thunes has partnered with Fiserv to support real-time international payouts for platforms, marketplaces and other businesses within Fiserv’s merchant ecosystem.

Chloé Mayenobe, Deputy CEO, Thunes, said: “We are thrilled to enable cross-border payments infrastructure for Fiserv as they expand the boundaries of what their customers can achieve.”

Under the collaboration, Fiserv clients will be able to send payments to employees, suppliers and other recipients across international markets through a single integration with Thunes’ global payments infrastructure. The solution is designed to simplify cross-border payouts as businesses expand into new markets.

The partnership will leverage Thunes’ Direct Global Network, which connects to more than 12 billion bank accounts and mobile wallets across over 140 countries and 90 currencies. The companies said the infrastructure will help businesses manage international payouts with greater speed, transparency and predictability.

Sanjay Saraf, Chief Product Officer, Fiserv Merchant Services, said: “Our work with Thunes helps businesses move money globally with greater speed, transparency and predictability, supporting more efficient and scalable global operations.”

The agreement has also supported Thunes’ continued expansion in the US. The company said it has obtained money transmission licences in all US states where required, strengthening its ability to support businesses making international payments.

Thunes’ Direct Global Network supports payments across more than 140 countries and 90 currencies, connecting businesses to bank accounts, mobile wallets, stablecoin wallets and cards through multiple payment methods.

The partnership came as platforms and marketplaces increasingly sought integrated infrastructure to manage international payments as their operations and merchant networks expand across markets. By combining Fiserv’s merchant ecosystem with Thunes’ global payout network, the companies have aimed to provide businesses with a more streamlined way to move money internationally.
