Clara, a FinTech company in Latin America, has raised $80 million in funding to accelerate its growth in the region, according to media reports. The funding round, which includes contributions from Citi Ventures and General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund, aims to bolster Clara’s presence in key markets such as Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. The capital will be used to expand the sales team, enhance marketing initiatives, and support the company’s strategic growth plans. Clara’s CEO, Gerry Giacoman Colyer, mentioned that the company is nearing consolidated profitability and is investing heavily in AI and other technological advancements to streamline financial operations for its clients.
