Ternio integrates Plaid to streamline crypto-friendly BlockCard Bank Accounts

Ternio, a white-label technology provider giving cryptocurrency real-world utility has announced the integration of Plaid, a FinTech company democratizing financial services through technology, to bring connectivity and accessibility to Ternio BlockCard bank accounts.

Through the integration, Ternio’s customers will now be able to connect outside financial accounts to their BlockCard bank accounts seamlessly and securely while continuing to receive exemplary customer support. Ternio BlockCard users can instantly authenticate their existing bank accounts to make transferring funds to their BlockCard bank accounts even easier. The integration removes the need of users to rely on manual verification with micro-deposits while securely link their bank accounts using their existing login credentials. Plaid’s technology also provides an additional layer of security from fraudulent activity.

“Integrating with Plaid is a big step in providing a more seamless and efficient user experience for BlockCard customers. We’ve designed our platform to be incredibly user-friendly, which is especially important when you consider our ultimate goal is to bring cryptocurrency and digital payments to the mainstream. Our customers will be able to link their existing financial institution to their crypto-friendly BlockCard bank account to easily move US dollars between all of their accounts,” said Ternio Co-founder & COO, Ian Kane.

Ternio after launching BlockCard bank accounts earlier this year has begun allowing their US-based customer to activate the FDIC-insured accounts. The Firm is adding more crypto-friendly features enabling customers to buy cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin directly from their account dashboards eliminating the need for third-party exchanges. The bank accounts are a part of a larger suite of Ternio banking products aimed at furthering the adoption of digital currency payments.

“Integrating with Ternio can help streamline account connectivity and reduce fraud for crypto account holders. Plaid’s consumer-permissioned data network will safely support account holders and the greater crypto community as it grows in users and adoption,” said Paul Williamson, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Plaid.

Founded in 2017, Ternio is a leading blockchain company providing white-label technology to enterprise organizations which gives blockchain and cryptocurrency real-world application. The FinTech is an Amazon advanced technology partner.
