TBC Uzbekistan has launched digital car loans, marking its entry into the secured lending market as the digital financial ecosystem expands its range of financial services in the country.

The product is currently available to a select group of customers in a pilot phase and has formed the first offering under TBC Avto, a dedicated platform designed to simplify vehicle financing and ownership for motorists in Uzbekistan.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, said: “The launch of digital car loans marks an important milestone in our strategy to build a comprehensive digital financial ecosystem in Uzbekistan. By combining a seamless digital application process with personalised support at dealerships, we are making vehicle financing simpler, faster and more accessible for our customers.”

The company has said the launch has supported its strategy to broaden its lending portfolio, deepen customer engagement across its digital ecosystem and diversify revenue streams. It has also said the new offering is intended to make the vehicle purchasing process faster and more convenient.

Customers can apply for a car loan through the TBC Uzbekistan mobile app, where they receive a preliminary decision within one minute. Following initial approval, applicants visit an authorised car dealership, where a TBC Uzbekistan representative assists with the remaining documentation before the purchase is completed. The company has said customers can complete the process and drive away with their vehicle within 24 hours.

The launch has marked TBC Uzbekistan’s expansion into the country’s secured lending segment, complementing its existing portfolio of digital banking and financial services. The company believes the addition of vehicle finance will strengthen customer relationships while supporting the continued growth of its ecosystem.
