Tazapay integrates iPiD payee verification for cross-border payments
By Parth Prabhudesai

Tazapay has partnered with iPiD to add real-time payee verification capabilities to its cross-border payments platform, as FinTech firms continue strengthening payment security and compliance infrastructure.
The integration embeds iPiD’s Know Your Payee technology directly into Tazapay’s platform, allowing businesses to verify payment recipients before sending funds across international markets.
Businesses using the platform can now access real-time account validation and beneficiary name matching through existing payment workflows. The integration is designed to help reduce payment errors, fraud risks and failed transactions in cross-border payments.
iPiD’s verification system operates through a single API that supports checks across multiple markets and payment schemes without requiring businesses to build separate local integrations.
Tazapay currently provides local collections and payouts across more than 70 markets, alongside alternative payment methods, virtual accounts, multi-jurisdiction licensing and stablecoin-to-fiat settlement services. The FinTech company serves more than 1,000 enterprises and FinTech clients across 30 countries and processes billions of dollars in annualised payment volumes.
The partnership comes as cross-border payments providers face growing pressure to strengthen payment verification systems, particularly as stablecoin-based settlement and emerging market payment corridors continue to expand.
Damien Dugauquier, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iPiD, said trust and payment verification are becoming increasingly important as businesses scale globally.
“When you’re operating at that scale and across that many markets, trust in who gets paid cannot be an afterthought,” Dugauquier said.
Aayush Singhania, Chief Product Officer at Tazapay, said the integration strengthens the company’s cross-border payments offering.
“Integrating iPiD means we can now add payee verification to that promise, so our clients know the payment is going to the right place before it moves,” Singhania said.
Tazapay recently extended its Series B funding round led by Circle Ventures, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and CMT Digital.
