Bunch has raised $35 million in a Series B funding round as fintech firms increasingly target the infrastructure layer of Europe’s fast-growing private markets industry.

The round was led by Portage, with participation from Illuminate Financial and existing investors including Motive Partners, Cherry Ventures and FinTech Collective. The funding brings the company’s total capital raised to more than $58 million.

Founded in 2021, bunch provides FinTech infrastructure for private equity and venture capital firms, helping fund managers digitise operations traditionally handled through spreadsheets, emails and manual workflows.

Its platform covers the full fund lifecycle, including digital investor onboarding, capital calls, fund accounting, compliance, tax reporting and administration. The company uses AI-driven workflows to automate document processing, extract key data and improve operational efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.

The funding comes as private markets globally face rising operational pressure amid growing assets under management and stricter regulatory requirements. Industry estimates cited by the company project private market assets could reach $32 trillion by 2030, increasing demand for scalable digital infrastructure.

Enrico Ohnemüller, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bunch, said the private markets sector has lagged behind other financial services segments in technology adoption.

“Private markets are entering a new phase of growth, but the operating infrastructure behind them has not kept pace,” Ohnemüller said.

The FinTech company currently supports more than 150 fund managers and over 12,000 limited partners across Europe. It reported 300% annual recurring revenue growth in 2025 and net revenue retention of 156%.

The new funding will be used to expand the company’s commercial presence across Europe, deepen AI and automation capabilities and extend the platform into additional asset classes, jurisdictions and operational workflows.

Bunch currently operates across Berlin, London, Amsterdam and Luxembourg.
