Stripe & Zuora partner to bolster the subscription economy

Zuora, powering the subscription economy has announced entering into a strategic partnership with Stripe to accelerate the growth of the Subscription Economy. The new product integration is expected to enable Zuora customers, including Carbar, Intercom and Seiko Epson, to enhance their subscription experience with advanced payment capabilities.

“Winning subscription companies want to use the best technologies to build a competitive advantage. We’re thrilled to work with Stripe in an ecosystem of new world partners that helps to optimize and automate processes throughout our customers’ journey in the Subscription Economy,” said Chris Battles, Chief Product Officer at Zuora.

Under the partnership, Zuora customers will gain access to Stripe’s payment capabilities within their existing Zuora subscription management integration, with key benefits like:

  • Advanced payments, fully integrated: Zuora customers can leverage the full potential of Stripe’s advanced payment processing capabilities integrated with the Zuora platform, including AI-enhanced payment retries, fraud detection, and payment processing capabilities – the ability to pass L2 and L3 data to issuers to reduce transaction processing costs.
  • Payment flexibility across subscriber experiences: The partnership will enable Zuora to add payments flexibility so subscribers can pay when, where, and how they choose.
  • Future-proofed architecture: Both the companies will work together as part of a modern ecosystem for digital subscriptions and commerce to create solutions that support global businesses. Thecollaboration gives customers the access and ability to use an architecture-specific to their unique needs.
