Seychelles Commercial Bank taps CR2 for payment hub solution

CR2CR2, Seychelles Commercial Bank, digital banking, payment solutions, SME, Digital Wallet solution, Fintech news, Fintech Africa, a digital banking and payments platform, has announced that Seychelles Commercial Bank (SCB) has gone live with CR2’s ATM driving, Card Issuing, and POS solutions. This marks a significant upgrade to the bank’s payment experiences for all SCB customers in Seychelles.

CR2, with offices in Dublin, Dubai, Jordan, India, and Australia, is known for its innovative digital banking and payment solutions. Through its flagship platform, BankWorld, the company powers 90+ banks across more than 50 countries and offers a comprehensive suite of digital banking, digital wallet, and payment functionalities.

Once implemented, the platform frees banks from expensive and time-intensive changes to their core banking stack. CR2 provides all the building blocks to launch products, services, and enhanced customer experiences from one platform across all channels.

Commenting on the launch, Cyril Dolan, CR2’s Chief Customer Services Officer, said, “At CR2, we see the real impact we deliver to both banks and the communities they serve when customers go live with our solutions. For Seychelles Commercial Bank, we look forward to a partnership that will add value over many years.”

He added, “Our ATM solution with remote operations and business tools will significantly enhance both operational efficiency and service delivery across the ATM fleet. Contactless debit cards will help to drive fast, secure payments that meet the growing demand for contactless payments. In addition, improved card management and controls give customers greater control over their cards to both boost security and improve customer experience while removing unnecessary administration from the bank. Finally, point of sale for business customers empowers local businesses to accept card payments, grow their customer base and simplify payments. This will positively impact the local economy by promoting cashless transactions.”
