Saudi Arabia-based enterprise artificial intelligence startup Gaia has raised $1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by SEEDRA Ventures to accelerate product development and expand its presence among enterprises adopting AI across the Kingdom.

The funding will support further development of Gaia’s sovereign enterprise AI platform and help organisations deploy AI-driven solutions to operational and workflow challenges.

Gaia provides an AI-powered operational intelligence layer that connects information and workflows across business systems. The platform integrates with applications such as CRM, ERP, HR platforms, collaboration tools and business intelligence systems, enabling employees to access information from a single interface and receive AI-generated responses based on company data.

Gaia enables AI agents to execute tasks across connected systems while maintaining approval workflows for critical actions. The company says this approach helps organisations improve productivity while meeting security, compliance and data residency requirements.

Demand for the platform is being driven by industries that manage large volumes of internal information and complex operational processes, including banking, insurance, government, technology, logistics and retail.

As enterprises move from experimenting with AI to integrating it into daily operations, there is growing demand for solutions that can work within existing business systems while providing measurable operational value.

The investment comes amid increasing adoption of enterprise AI across Saudi Arabia, where organisations are seeking technology platforms that combine advanced AI capabilities with governance, security and local deployment requirements. Gaia plans to use the new capital to strengthen its platform and support a broader range of enterprise use cases across the region.
