Finastra has launched Finastra Supply Chain Finance (SCF), a new solution designed to help banks expand working capital programmes, accelerate deployment and deliver connected trade, lending and supply chain finance services through a unified platform.

Integrated with Finastra’s Trade Innovation and Loan IQ platforms via the Nexus API suite, the solution enables financial institutions to connect trade finance, lending and supply chain finance operations while reducing time to market.

Finastra SCF provides an end-to-end platform covering buyer and supplier acquisition, onboarding, transaction processing, servicing, risk management and secondary market distribution. The platform supports straight-through processing and connects with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and ecosystem partners through APIs, giving banks greater visibility across supply chain finance operations.

Built on a cloud-native architecture, the solution is available through multiple deployment models, including on-premise and SaaS, allowing institutions to scale operations according to their requirements.

The launch forms part of Finastra’s ongoing investment in its Trade Innovation and Loan IQ platforms, extending its strategy of creating a connected working capital ecosystem. The company aims to help banks manage trade finance, lending and supply chain finance products through a unified commercial and risk management framework.

Vinay Mendonca, Head of Product, Trade Supply Chain Finance and Corporate Channels at Finastra, said, “By combining new supply chain finance capabilities with Trade Innovation and Loan IQ, we’re enabling banks to take a more connected approach to working capital. We look to bring more API, AI and cloud-led innovation to the market, leveraging our deep expertise in the trade domain, to help institutions innovate and grow.”

Key capabilities include faster product launches through pre-built integrations, consolidated management of limits and exposures across trade and lending products, automated risk distribution through secondary market functionality, and enhanced risk controls supported by AI-driven fraud detection, compliance screening and eligibility monitoring.

The platform is also designed to support large-scale operations, enabling banks to manage thousands of counterparties and millions of invoices through automated processing and real-time servicing.

Future updates will expand the platform’s capabilities to include purchase order finance, pre- and post-shipment finance, inventory finance, distributor finance and other working capital solutions.

Trade Innovation is Finastra’s digital trade finance platform that helps institutions automate workflows, manage risk and improve working capital efficiency. The company said the platform is evolving into a modular, cloud-ready and API-first ecosystem designed to help banks scale operations and deliver integrated trade and lending experiences.
