Revolut Business reaches 500k customer milestone; rolls out new features

Revolut Business announced that it has signed up around 500,000 business customers since its launch in July 2017. The company has also launched new products, updated their interface and navigation, added more mobile functionality and has rolled out a dark mode for its mobile applications. Revolut Business is currently aiming to expand into the US and Australian markets in a bid to facilitate better money movement between continents.

Nik Storonsky, CEO and Founder of Revolut, said, “We’re delighted to be helping businesses save money and time – and we felt that the milestone called for us to celebrate with a fresh look. The new structure of our Revolut Business web and mobile apps paves the way for some really exciting products we have in the pipeline. We can’t wait to take business accounts to the next level.”

Revolut stated that the new developments would provide its customers with a better way to manage all their business finances in one place. Recently, the company rolled out a suite of new products including Debit cards, instant EUR payments, INR transfers, Direct Debits, Expense Management, Open Banking so businesses can link their other accounts, and Rewards to give them discounts on key services and integrations with a number of key partners including Quickbooks, Bullet HQ and Clear Books.

Revolut also announced some new updates including Connect integrations, Linked Accounts opportunities, more local account details, acquiring tools, updates to subscriptions and expenses, updated Savings & Rewards and other options for company cards.

Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that Revolut has introduced instant Euro transfers for all of its Business accounts in a bid to simplify and accelerate customers’ payments to European bank accounts.
