Perfios.ai appoints Veena Rao as COO to fuel global FinTech expansion

Perfios.ai has appointed Veena Rao as Chief Operating Officer, as the FinTech software provider strengthens its leadership team for global expansion.

Rao will lead Perfios’ global operations, with responsibility for improving customer experience, driving strategic growth initiatives and strengthening the company’s operating foundation. The move comes as Perfios continues to scale its technology platforms and broaden its presence across international markets.

She brings more than 30 years of experience across banking, consulting and financial technology, with a background in building large teams and leading transformation programmes. During her career, Rao has held roles at ICICI Bank, PwC, Oracle and HCL Technologies.

Most recently, she served as Chief Product Officer and Chief Operations Officer for the corporate banking division at Finastra. There, she oversaw enterprise banking solutions across lending, trade finance and digital channels, while managing customer, product and delivery functions at scale.

The appointment follows the recent onboarding of Nitin Chugh as Managing Director and Group CEO, reinforcing Perfios’ senior management bench during its next growth phase.

Perfios provides software and data solutions to banks, insurers and FinTechs, with products spanning onboarding, underwriting, analytics and credit decisioning. The latest hire highlights rising demand for experienced operators as Indian FinTech infrastructure firms pursue global growth.
