Paysafe, a payments platform, has launched its new Merchant of Record (MoR) solution through a strategic partnership with FastSpring, a provider of merchant of record services for Games, Apps, AI, Software, and digital goods businesses.

The co-branded solution, powered by FastSpring’s merchant of record infrastructure, helps businesses sell globally without managing many of the operational, regulatory and administrative requirements associated with direct merchant operations. By acting as the legal seller of record, the solution manages key responsibilities including tax collection, calculation, and remittance, payment localisation and regional compliance, and chargeback management, enabling businesses to accelerate international growth and focus on product innovation and customer acquisition.

Initially aimed at digital-first sectors such as gaming, software and digital content, the solution provides a simplified path to global commerce by combining Paysafe’s payments expertise and international reach with FastSpring’s merchant of record capabilities.
