Offa and Knowledge Bank partner on property finance access
By Parth Prabhudesai

Offa has partnered with Knowledge Bank as part of its strategy to strengthen visibility among mortgage intermediaries and brokers.
Under the agreement, Offa’s lending criteria will be added to Knowledge Bank’s property finance criteria search platform, allowing brokers to more easily identify Offa’s products and assess suitable financing options for client cases.
The partnership is aimed at increasing awareness of Offa’s Sharia-compliant property finance offering within the intermediary market, while helping brokers access alternative finance solutions for UK residents, overseas clients, and UK-based companies.
Saalik Haleem, Senior Intermediary and Product Manager at Offa, said the partnership would simplify the process for intermediaries seeking suitable finance solutions for clients.
“By showcasing our criteria on Knowledge Bank, we are supporting intermediaries in identifying the right solutions for their clients with greater ease,” Haleem said. “This will also help drive greater awareness of our offering across the intermediary market and strengthen our visibility among intermediaries, which is a key strategic priority for us.”
Julie Bourne, Criteria and Partnerships Manager at Knowledge Bank, said brokers would benefit from better access to Offa’s specialist criteria and Islamic finance products.
Offa describes itself as the UK’s first halal bridge finance provider and offers a range of Sharia-compliant property finance products. Earlier this year, the company launched a Home Purchase Plan, positioned as an alternative to conventional residential mortgages, with a paperless application process and rapid approval capabilities.
The FinTech has also expanded its offering through the launch of a bridge-to-let finance service and recently acquired Bank of Ireland’s Alburaq Sharia-compliant home finance portfolio.
The partnership reflects growing demand for digital and alternative property finance solutions within the UK intermediary and Islamic finance markets.
