nCino launches loan officer productivity suite for mortgage approvals
By Divya Shah

Why it matters: By embedding generative AI, underwriting intelligence and workflow automation directly into mortgage origination platforms, FinTechs and lenders can reduce processing times, improve staff productivity and scale loan volumes without increasing headcount.
nCino, the provider of agentic AI banking solutions, has launched the Loan Officer Productivity Suite, a collection of AI-driven tools designed to help mortgage originators work more efficiently and spend less time on manual processes.
The new suite has been integrated directly into the nCino Mortgage Solution, giving loan officers access to automated actions, faster answers, and workflow support from a single interface. By bringing multiple AI capabilities together within nCino’s mobile-native point-of-sale platform, the company aims to reduce administrative tasks and allow originators to focus more on borrower interactions.
The suite uses an institution’s own data, product guidelines and workflow rules to provide tailored responses and recommended actions. This enables loan officers to access information and complete tasks without switching between multiple systems.
Early adopters, including Educated Mortgage, have already begun using the tools within their daily mortgage origination processes. Meanwhile, Security National Financial Corporation is preparing to deploy the suite to support its loan officers.
Dan O’Brien, President and Loan Officer at Educated Mortgage, said that the solution delivers faster and more relevant results compared with traditional AI search tools, helping teams find information more efficiently.
The productivity suite includes several AI-powered capabilities designed to streamline mortgage operations:
The Mortgage Advisor for Loan Officers extends nCino’s conversational AI technology to the lender side of the mortgage process. The tool enables originators to ask natural-language questions about loan files, pipelines and GSE guidelines while also performing routine actions, such as creating tasks or sending reminders with user approval.
Loan PreCheck automatically evaluates borrower eligibility against lending standards from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA, recommending the most suitable loan programme before an application reaches underwriting.
The Mortgage MCP for Loan Officers allows mortgage professionals to connect AI agents directly with the nCino Mortgage Suite through a conversational interface, reducing the need to switch between applications while managing loan workflows.
AUS Smart Tasks converts automated underwriting findings into simplified summaries and suggested next steps, helping loan officers prioritise and complete tasks more efficiently.
In addition, Automated Pre-approval brings together credit authorisation, verification services, fee calculations and dual AUS integrations into a single workflow. The process automatically handles key steps in loan applications, reducing approval times from days to minutes.
The suite also includes Automated Disclosures, which automates the generation of initial disclosures and redisclosures for standard loan templates, freeing up staff to focus on higher-value activities.
Casey Williams, General Manager of Global Mortgage at nCino, said, “The Loan Officer Productivity Suite helps create that capacity by taking routine work off originators’ plates and putting answers and next steps at their fingertips, so they can stay responsive and competitive without adding more hours to the day.”
