NBK unveils payment verification service on its mobile banking app

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has launched a new service that allows customers to confirm payment transactions online through the NBK Mobile Banking App. The new service provides a hassle-free, quick, and secure way to make payments online.

With the NBK Secure Shopping service, customers can confirm all online payments directly through the banking app without entering OTP. The service is available for holders of NBK Debit Cards (only for international spending), foreign currency prepaid cards, and Multi-Currency Prepaid Cards. To avail of it, customers need to enable NBK Push Notifications.

The customer will receive a notification, asking to be redirected to the app to confirm the payment in a few easy steps. If the notifications service is not enabled, the customer can enter the app and follow the steps to confirm the payment.

Through the mobile banking app, NBK aims to offer customers a secure platform to manage their finances conveniently at any given moment. This service facilitates a wide range of banking activities, including opening new accounts, monitoring transactions on accounts and credit cards, and accessing accumulated NBK Miles and Rewards Program points. It also helps in settling credit card dues, making payments for electronic bills, locating the nearest bank branches, ATMs, and CDMs across Kuwait, updating personal information, and many other services.

The mobile banking app is currently available to download on the App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery.
