Blue Machines AI has partnered with Muthoot Finance to deploy a conversational AI platform for gold loan lead engagement and qualification, helping the lender improve customer acquisition efficiency and increase branch visits from digital leads.

The deployment, completed within three weeks, has engaged more than 1.39 million gold loan leads across India and expanded coverage to over 19,000 PIN codes.

The platform uses Blue Machines AI’s conversational AI agents to engage prospective borrowers generated through digital campaigns. During interactions, the AI captures key information such as loan requirements, available gold collateral and customer location details.

Sarath Joseph, General Manager, Muthoot Finance, said, “The deployment has enabled us to improve operational efficiency while creating a more seamless experience for customers across geographies. By connecting digital inquiries more effectively with our branch network, we can help interested customers take the next step in their gold-loan journey more quickly.”

It then identifies qualified prospects and directs them to the nearest Muthoot Finance branch, bridging the gap between online enquiries and offline lending services.

Integrated with lender systems through APIs, the AI platform can validate customer inputs, determine branch eligibility, provide gold-value information and initiate the next stages of the loan application process. The solution also enables customers to resume interrupted conversations from the point where they previously stopped, reducing friction during the onboarding journey.

Blue Machines AI’s platform combines speech-to-text, text-to-speech and large language model capabilities to facilitate natural conversations at scale. Its orchestration layer connects customer interactions with enterprise systems and operational teams, enabling end-to-end journey management focused on business outcomes.

From a fintech perspective, the deployment highlights the growing use of agentic AI within lending workflows, where AI systems are increasingly being used not only to engage customers but also to qualify leads, automate processes and support conversion efforts.

Nirmit Parikh, Founder and CEO, Blue Machines AI, said, “Our partnership brings together the reach and trust of that physical network with the intelligence and scale of enterprise AI. Together, we are building a model where every expression of digital intent can be understood, qualified and seamlessly connected to the right branch.”

He added: “The 150% uplift in lead-to-branch conversion demonstrates the transformative potential of conversational AI when it is embedded into the heart of an enterprise’s customer journey. We believe this partnership can set a new benchmark for how AI connects digital discovery with financial access across India.”
