mPokket announces appointment of new Head of Human Resources

mPokket, Human Resources, HR, Instant Loan App, loan, COVID-19, students mPokket, an Instant Loan App providing loans to college students and young working professionals, has appointed Sukhpreet Singh as their new Head of Human Resources.

Sukhpreet will be responsible for the HR team leadership, besides developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the Company’s overall business strategy. Towards this objective, he plans to connect employees with the Company’s mission, envision the future of work post-COVID-19 and create an engaging environment where people can perform better.

He comes with 12 years of experience at leading organisations such as Lenskart, Concentrix, Aon Hewitt and VitalSmarts India. Before joining mPokket, Sukhpreet was associated with Lenskart as the Head of HR. As Sukhpreet begins a his new responsibility with mPokket, he aims to strengthen numerous initiatives where employees are placed at the centre of events.

Speaking on the appointment of Sukhpreet Singh as Head – Human Resources, Gaurav Jalan, CEO & Founder – mPokket said, “We have strong ambitions for transforming mPokket into a truly diverse, inclusive, people-driven and equitable company. Sukhpreet brings a wealth of experience in change management, talent development, operational efficiency and recruitment, along with a proven ability to lead. An Instant Loan App that provides loans to college students and young working professionals, mPokket was founded by Gaurav Jalan in 2015. The Company received early-stage funding of $50,000 from VC Village Capital through a contest-type selection process.
