MoonPay, JD Millwood, Vice President of Growth, Tiger Global Management, USAMoonPay, the global payments solution for cryptocurrency, has announced the appointment of JD Millwood as VP of Growth. JD joins MoonPay at a crucial growth period for the company, as it announced its $555 million Series A funding round, which was led by Tiger Global Management and Coatue.

Prior to joining MoonPay, JD was the VP of Growth and Product at Curve, a consumer-facing payment card company that aggregates multiple payment cards through its mobile app. He also held the role of Head of Growth at crypto exchange platform, Coinbase. His wealth of experience across growth and product will be critical as the company expands its user and partner base across new markets, ensuring the business is able to develop its exposure whilst continuing to innovate and develop seamless ways for consumers to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, NFTs and other digital assets.

Ivan Soto-Wright, Founder and CEO at MoonPay said: “This is an incredibly exciting time at MoonPay and we are proud of the exceptional depth and quality of talent across our organization. JD Millwood, VP of Growth at MoonPay added: “As MoonPay builds on its stellar achievements this year, it will be essential that the business continues to expand its customer base as well as engage with partners, creators, and consumers across new markets on a global scale. I am looking forward to helping MoonPay achieve this goal and realise its formidable ambition of helping a billion people enter the crypto economy by 2030. MoonPay’s innovation and industry foresight is truly remarkable and I am excited to be supporting the team on this journey.”
