Monimove integrates with UAE PASS to strengthen trade finance
By Edil Corneille
London-based Monimove, a global end to end supply chain, trade finance and credit utilisation platform, announced its integration plans with UAE PASS.
UAE PASS is a secure national digital identity for citizens and residents of the country. Registered individuals of the app can access services of 5,000+ government, semi-government and private sector entities through the respective websites and apps. Individuals can digitally sign and authenticate documents and transactions. UAE PASS enables users to request a digital version of various official documents issued to their name.
Through this, Monimove will be bringing to market its first fully digitised platform which is operated by Protiviti, a global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise in governance, risk and compliance. The platform will offer complete transparency throughout the supply chain & trade finance in order to greatly reduce operational risk.
Leveraging UAE PASS digital ID, Monimove will offer its public and private clients a fully authenticated process to bolster transparency across the trade cycle from invoicing to settlement.
H.E. Wesam Lootah, CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment, said: “Smart Dubai is committed to collaborating with strategic partners from local and federal government entities, as well as from the private sector, to develop projects and services that enhance the digital ecosystem in Dubai and the UAE, and lay the foundations for a world-leading smart city of the future right here in the emirate.”
“Our end goal at Smart Dubai has always been the happiness and wellbeing of the city’s citizens, residents, and visitors, and with that in mind, UAE PASS was developed to allow users to easily access city services, as well as to digitally and remotely sign official documents,” H.E. Lootah added. “The success of this project is only guaranteed when we have a network of influential partners integrating UAE PASS into their systems and operations. Monimove’s plans to adopt UAEPASS effectively brings them into the emirate-wide effort to establish Dubai as the world’s happiest and smartest city.”
“Integrating with UAE Pass will help Monimove customers build trusted digital relationships by benefiting from a frictionless authentication process which will enhance reliability and add further security to the trade ecosystem. Through this partnership, Monimove users will be able to digitally sign documents in the most efficient, secure and compliant environment,” said Hahsim Al Hussaini, Monimove’s Managing Director.
Monimove is crafting a partnership with the UAE Government and the integration with UAE PASS is key to the success of this partnership as it will drive operational success and enhance credibility.
