Maybank Indonesia and Muslim Pro have launched Amanah Pro, a new Islamic Banking-as-a-Service (iBaaS) platform designed to help users financially prepare for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.

The integration allows Muslim Pro users in Indonesia to access Sharia-compliant banking services directly through the app without visiting a physical branch. The feature marks the first banking service introduced within the Muslim Pro platform and is supported by Maybank Indonesia’s Sharia Business Unit.

Amanah Pro is powered by Banking-as-a-Service technology developed by Audax, enabling non-bank digital platforms to embed banking services into their existing ecosystems. The initiative reflects the growing adoption of embedded finance models within community-based applications.

According to the companies, the platform is designed to simplify access to Islamic financial services while supporting users planning for religious travel. The service operates within a regulatory framework facilitated by Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Steffano Ridwan, President Director at Maybank Indonesia, said, “The launch of Amanah Pro is proof that digital innovation and Sharia principles can strengthen each other.”

He added that the initiative forms part of the bank’s broader contribution to Indonesia’s Islamic finance sector.

For Muslim Pro, which serves around 190 million users globally, the launch expands the app’s functionality beyond spiritual and lifestyle services into digital financial access.

Nafees Khundker, Group Managing Director and CEO of Muslim Pro, said, “This collaboration allows us to support our community in a tangible new way by removing financial barriers and providing seamless, Sharia-compliant solutions for those preparing for the life-changing journeys of Hajj and Umrah.”

Maybank Indonesia said it plans to continue developing Amanah Pro and explore additional collaborations with digital platforms in the future.
