By Edil Corneille
Markazia Toyota has recently collaborated with eFAWATEERcom which entails enabling customers with the option to complete their installments at the press of a button – anytime and anywhere. This may be done directly via the eFAWATEERcom app, through their mobile banking app, or by visiting the eFAWATEERcom cash-based payment locations available across the Kingdom.
“Facilitating the payment process; saving time and effort; and continuously enhancing safety and security are the main reasons we embarked on this collaboration, which allows us to provide our customers with solutions that ensure their peace of mind and present them with a unique experience from the moment they purchase their vehicles onwards,” commented Markazia Managing Director, Nadim Haddad.
eFAWATEERcom is said to be a simple and secure electronic payment system, operated by MadfooatCom under the supervision of the Central Bank of Jordan. MadfooatCom is an online, real-time bill presentment and payment system (EBPPS). The system helps customers to inquire about and pay their bills, and make payments anytime and anywhere.
eFAWATEERcom is an easy-to-use electronic service for checking the due bill amount and for paying bills. A variety of electronic payment methods or cash-based locations are available. Businesses can focus on adding value to clients.
In 2014, the Central Bank of Jordan opened up a tender process to find an electronic solution that would make bill payment easier, while also helping to reduce the amount of cash in circulation. A number of regional and international companies applied, and the bid was won by MadfooatCom for Electronic Payments.
MadfooatCom’s CEO and Founder Nasser Saleh established the company in 2011. He previously lived for several years in Saudi Arabia, and upon returning to Jordan, he combined his knowledge of electronic payment systems abroad with his passion for improving lives by leveraging technology. Madfooatcom is a Jordanian company headquartered in Amman.
