Gee Finance partners with Enfuce to issue debit cards
By Joy Dumasia
Gee Finance has selected Enfuce as its card-issuing partner. This partnership enables Gee Finance to issue Visa debit cards for freelancers, social media influencers and other gig workers. Gee Finance will launch its debit card by the beginning of 2022. This will give customers smooth and instant access to their salaries. The card product will be initially a pilot project in Sweden and then expand to other markets globally.
With the help of Enfuce, Gee Finance gets a turnkey solution, including the card-issuing license and connection to Visa’s card scheme. Enfuce provides the View PIN and View PAN functionalities of the debit card, fraud and dispute management, and APIs for digital wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Gee Finance provides financial services for gig workers, including loans, invoice factoring (advance salary withdrawal), express cash, credit, security deposits, pension, and insurance. They also provide personal financial management services, including spending, savings, loans, and mortgages. A shared vision of enabling payments, can-do attitude and international aspirations are the primary reasons why Gee Finance decided to partner with Enfuce.
Monika Liikamaa, CEO and Co-Founder at Enfuce, said: “It’s a pleasure to work with an ambitious company like Gee Finance who enables new business and payments for gig workers. They’ll certainly achieve big things globally with their unique financial solution.”
Claes Persson, CEO at Gee Finance, said: “It has been like coming into the arms of a family working with Enfuce. From day one, we’ve been totally embraced by Monika and her very knowledgeable team, having taken us through this journey towards our launch with great patience and expertise.”
IBS Intelligence reported that Enfuce, a Nordic payment service provider, launched its transaction-based carbon footprint calculator, My Carbon Action, in AWS Marketplace, a digital catalogue with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that make it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
