Flotta Consulting, a global payments advisory firm, has partnered with Gaigentic.ai, an independent verification and governance platform for financial AI, to help finance and payments teams implement agentic AI with governance, verification and human oversight built into operations from the outset.

The collaboration combines Flotta Consulting’s payments expertise with Gaigentic.ai’s enterprise AI platform to support CFOs, treasurers and payments leaders in identifying high-value AI use cases, designing controlled workflows and demonstrating measurable business outcomes without replacing existing systems or undertaking large-scale transformation programmes.

The partnership is focused on delivering practical AI applications while maintaining operational control and minimising risk.

Initial use cases include payment cost and scheme-fee analysis, acquiring optimisation, fraud investigations, reconciliation, chargeback management and compliance processes. Under the arrangement, Flotta Consulting will define commercial priorities and operating models, while Gaigentic.ai will provide AI agents and governance capabilities to automate knowledge-intensive tasks, accelerate analysis and support decision-making.

The solution is designed to operate within a customer’s existing technology environment, allowing organisations to retain control of sensitive data. The companies said AI-generated outputs will remain transparent, verifiable and auditable, with human oversight maintained throughout the decision-making process.

The partners added that organisations can move from discovery to proof of value within four to six weeks, enabling faster evaluation of AI-driven operational improvements.

The offering is intended to help businesses improve efficiency, strengthen governance and scale operations without matching increases in headcount.

The partnership targets merchants, corporates, financial institutions and fintechs looking to adopt AI in regulated or operationally critical payment environments while maintaining transparency, control and compliance standards.
