fiservPoland-based Nest Bank today announced that it has selected First Data Polska, now Fiserv, as its new provider of payment card outsourcing services. The partnership will offer comprehensive management and service of the bank’s debit and credit card programs, including traditional and online card issuing and fraud monitoring. Nest Bank will also continue to develop its digital capabilities by introducing new services available via the Internet and mobile channels.

“We decided to choose Fiserv as our partner in the field of credit card outsourcing because we share common values: innovation, professionalism, and services at the highest level. We are a bank that focuses on digital customer service channels and develops them intensively. That is why it was vital for us to acquire an innovative partner such as Fiserv. We also appreciate the company’s contribution to shaping a modern cashless payment market in Poland, with emphasis on the security of card users,” said Agnieszka Porębska-Kość, Member of the Management Board of Nest Bank.

According to Fiserv, the collaboration will enable Nest Bank to offer online card issuing, enabling the issuance of a fully functional virtual payment card. It will also facilitate the management of a full life cycle of the card, including real-time activation, limit changes or card cancellation. Fiserv will provide Nest Bank with transaction monitoring and accurate data analyses to help ensure transaction security, identify suspicious transactions, and eliminate scams and fraud.

“Consumers continue to rely on the convenience of card payments, and as they conduct more activities digitally services like online card issuing will continue to meet their needs for secure, convenient payments. We are proud to welcome Nest Bank as a client as they implement these services with the current and future needs of their customers in mind,” said Krzysztof Polończyk, President of First Data Polska, now Fiserv.
