Fiserv acquires Pinch Payments to power PayFac growth in Asia-Pacific

FiservFiserv, Fintech News, Fintech Solutions, Financial Technology, Fintech Acquisitions, Payfare Inc, Fiserv acquires Pinch Payments to power PayFac growth in Asia-Pacific has acquired Australia-based Pinch Payments, a payment facilitator (PayFac) known for its enablement tools and management platform, Glassbox. Founded in 2017, Pinch currently serves around 2,000 merchants across Australia and New Zealand.

Pinch offers comprehensive tools to facilitate payments more efficiently at scale. The acquisition adds a payment orchestration platform to Fiserv’s portfolio, aimed at supporting a range of stakeholders, including PayFacs, independent software vendors (ISVs), business platform service providers (BPSPs), independent sales organisations (ISOs), and enterprises. It also expands Fiserv’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, offering enhanced payment capabilities and integrations, including with the company’s existing Clover platform.
