FinTech company Payrix acquires IntegraPay and launches into Australia and New Zealand
By Edil Corneille
Today, Frisco-based FinTech company Payrix announced its official launch into Australia and New Zealand as it completed the acquisition of Brisbane-based payment service provider, IntegraPay. The company’s expansion efforts is expected to remove barriers, boost revenue and accelerate money movement for a network of growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) clients with operations overseas.
A digital payments company in infrastructure-as-a-service technology, Payrix has mentioned that it is obsessively client focused, determined to fuel stickiness and monetisation for vertically focused SaaS providers. On the heels of the company’s recent Series A extension, this merger positions the company as an independent payment technology provider. It will add an additional $1.75 billion in processing volume to the Payrix Platform.
“We’ve listened to our clients and many have exciting plans to expand globally – it became clear we needed to eliminate blockers that were holding them back,” Payrix CEO, Eric Frazier apprised. “We believe IntegraPay’s market-leading technology, customer-centricity and local presence will deliver the seamless user experience and growth results our clients need to scale smart.”
Operating in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom, IntegraPay processes over a million transactions a month and delivers solutions, local services and technology to over 5,000 clients.
“We are delighted to have found a partner that shares both our growth ambitions and core values for serving clients,” IntegraPay CEO, John De Stefani enthused.
Payrix mentioned that the opportunity to monetise payments for growth today with global reach tomorrow is what attracted SaaS leaders like OpusXenta – an Australian SaaS funeral management platform – and Storable’s tech brand in self-storage, to partner with it.
The company has stated that Australia and New Zealand marks a major step forward for its client base, existing and prospective. With plans to expand to additional markets in 2021, Payrix will continue to open doors for digital commerce globally.
