Summit Group has selected FINBOURNE Technology as its strategic fund administration platform following a competitive evaluation process, as the alternative investment firm seeks to modernise its investment operations and strengthen data management across its business.

The implementation will see Summit Group deploy FINBOURNE’s cloud-native investment management platform to streamline fund administration, investment accounting and data management. The initiative was intended to establish a single, scalable data foundation that supports operational efficiency while enabling the firm to respond more effectively to evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Charles Lyons, Chief Executive Officer of Summit Group, said: Following a comprehensive evaluation, we selected FINBOURNE because of its modern technology architecture and its ability to provide a flexible, scalable platform for our investment operations. We believe this partnership will strengthen our data capabilities and support our long-term growth strategy.”

According to the companies, Summit Group chose FINBOURNE after assessing multiple technology providers, citing the platform’s open architecture, interoperability and ability to integrate data across front-, middle- and back-office functions. The deployment is expected to reduce operational complexity by replacing fragmented workflows with a unified investment data platform.

The platform was designed to support fund administration processes while improving data accuracy, transparency and reporting capabilities. By consolidating investment data into a centralised environment, Summit Group aims to enhance decision-making and create a more scalable operating model as its business continues to grow.

Thomas McHugh, Chief Executive Officer of FINBOURNE Technology, said: “Investment firms are increasingly looking for modern platforms that can simplify complex operations while delivering trusted investment data across the organisation. We are pleased to support Summit Group as it modernises its operating model and builds a scalable foundation for future growth.”

The agreement has reflected a broader trend across the investment management industry, where firms have continued to invest in cloud-based platforms that unify investment data, automate operational processes and improve the efficiency of fund administration and reporting.
