This strategic expansion reinforces Expleo’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and accelerating digital transformation across key sectors.

As Saudi Arabia emerges as a digital hub in the Middle East, demand for expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), data science, software development, and cybersecurity continues to surge. HSBC recently valued the Kingdom’s digital economy at $122.6 billion as of February 2024, highlighting its position as the fastest-growing ICT market in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Expleo Solutions Arabia Ltd. will serve as a regional hub, delivering advanced IT and engineering services to Saudi organisations across various industries, including banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), automotive, defence, and energy. The subsidiary will leverage Expleo’s global network of 18,000 experts, many of whom possess Arabic language proficiency, to support Saudi businesses in adopting cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

Ralph Gillessen, Chairman of Expleo Solutions Ltd. & Group COO of Expleo Group, said, “With its advanced digital infrastructure and ongoing investment, Saudi Arabia is the digital powerhouse of the Middle East. The creation of our new entity will help local businesses more easily access Expleo’s unique blend of technical expertise and industry knowledge. This is an important strategic step for Expleo, and we are excited to scale up our operations in the region, contributing to job creation and supporting the continued diversification of one of the most dynamic and fast-growing economies in the world.”

The new Riyadh entity also strengthens Expleo’s footprint in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market, where it has operated for over a decade, including an existing office in the UAE. It will also serve as a nearshore base to extend IT and engineering services across the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, including the UAE, Oman, and Kuwait.

This expansion marks a significant step forward in Expleo’s Middle East growth strategy, positioning it as a key enabler of digital innovation in one of the region’s most dynamic economies.
