Everlink taps FSS to drive card payments growth in Canada

Everlink Payment Services, a leading provider of comprehensive, innovative and integrated payments solutions and services for credit unions, banks, and small/medium enterprises (SMEs) across Canada has announced that the company has selected FSS’s Unified Card Management System to modernize card operations to drive future growth plans.

Everlink has selected FSS solution as a replacement for Everlink’s legacy card issuance infrastructure to better respond to the market needs, with deployment scheduled to go live in the fourth quarter of this year.

Under the partnership, FSS will implement its Unified Card Management System to manage debit and prepaid cards issuance from a single platform and support transaction processing and programs for prepaid cards, bringing significant scale efficiencies. As part of the deal, FSS will also replace the existing card issuance system with an API-based card management framework simplifying operations, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) and mitigating obsolescence risk.

The FSS deployment would enable Everlink to migrate from a legacy mainframe-based to an open stack system that integrates with payment systems seamlessly Member banks connected to the Everlink platform would benefit from automated web-based workflows to rollout card programs along with rich dashboards and seamless interface with the core banking systems, bringing major efficiencies in terms of reduced operating and integration overhead.
