Emirates NBD has enhanced its digital Margin Trading Facility, enabling eligible investors to apply online for financing of up to $2.7 million to support trading in equities listed on exchanges in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The upgraded facility has been introduced to provide investors with greater purchasing power through a fully digital application process, allowing them to access leverage without liquidating their existing investment portfolios. The solution supports real-time trading and has been designed to simplify access to margin financing while reducing turnaround times for clients.

Ahmed Al Qassim, Group Head of Wholesale Banking at Emirates NBD, said: “The UAE’s capital markets continue to deepen and evolve, and investors are seeking tools that enable them to participate more effectively. Our fully digital Margin Trading Facility gives clients greater buying power through a secure, intuitive and responsive platform.”

He added: “This upgrade demonstrates Emirates NBD’s commitment to supporting market development and delivering solutions that meet investors’ changing needs.”

The digital facility has been integrated into the bank’s investment platform, offering a streamlined experience for investors seeking to participate more actively in regional capital markets. Alongside higher financing limits, the platform has been built to support secure and efficient processing, enabling clients to respond more quickly to market opportunities.

According to Emirates NBD, the enhanced offering follows growing investor demand for digital wealth solutions and leverage-based trading tools as trading activity across regional exchanges continues to expand. The facility is intended to provide clients with increased flexibility while supporting broader participation in the UAE and Saudi equity markets.

The enhancement reflects the broader digital transformation of wealth management services, with financial institutions increasingly investing in technology-driven investment platforms that combine digital onboarding, real-time execution and scalable financing capabilities for retail and professional investors.
