Embedded insurer Companjon and bunq partner on digital insurance

Companjon, an Irish InsurTech specializing in digital-driven embedded insurance, has partnered with bunq, one of the largest neobanks in Europe. The partnership will see Companjon provide its insurance product Extended Warranty and Purchase Protection to the users of bunq. The product is designed to cover the financial loss incurred for certain goods purchased by the bank’s Easy Green users.

Bunq’s flagship subscription plan Easy Green enables users to offset their carbon footprint in less than two years, by having bunq plant a tree for every Є100 spent with any of their bunq cards. To add more security, bunq Easy Green users will now automatically be covered with Companjon insurance when purchasing certain goods using their bunq Metal Card.
